|De iustitia et iure. Über Gerechtigkeit und Recht|
de Molina, Luis
2019, 496 S, Gb, (frommann-holzboog)
Although the Spanish Jesuit Luis de Molina (1535-1600) is considered a major theological advocate of human self-determination as well as a pioneer of economic liberalism, he has received less attention so far than, for example, Francisco de Vitoria (1483-1546) and Francisco Suárez (1548-1617). Significant parts of Molina's legal philosophy are made accessible through this two-volume edition and translation of tractates I and II, disputations 1-40, of his voluminous "De Iustitia et Iure" which contained five tractates published between 1593 and 1609.
